TAC/TACC and Deemed Value Changes from 1 October 2017
The Fisheries (Total Allowable Catch, Total Allowable Commercial Catch, and Deemed Value Rates) Amendment Notice (No 2) 2017 has been gazetted.
A number of stocks will have their TAC/TACCs changed with effect from 1 October 2017. Please note that Underfishing ACE is not allocated for stocks that have their TACC reduced.
A list of the stocks that will change is provided below.

The TACCs for BNS1, BNS2, BNS3, BNS7, BNS8, HAK7, PAU3, PAU4 and PAU7 have been decreased, whilst the TACCs for GUR7 and ORH3B have been increased.
TACs have been set for the first time for PAU3, PAU4 and RCO2.
Deemed Value Rate (DVR) Changes
GLM9
- interim DVR is increased from $5.40/kg to $9.00/kg
- basic annual DVR is increased from $6.00/kg to $10.00/kg
- differential DVR is changed from standard to special
RCO2
- interim DVR is increased from $0.14/kg to $0.25/kg
RSK8
- interim DVR is decreased from $0.32/kg to $0.24/kg
- basic annual DVR is decreased from $0.35/kg to $0.26/kg
SCH3
- interim DVR is increased from $0.90/kg to $3.20/kg
- basic annual DVR is increased from $1.80/kg to $3.60/kg
SSK8
- interim DVR is decreased from $0.32/kg to $0.24/kg
- basic annual DVR is decreased from $0.35/kg to $0.26/kg
TAR8
- interim DVR is increased from $1.25/kg to $2.48/kg
- basic annual DVR is increased from $2.50/kg to $2.75/kg
TRE2
