Effective from 1 October 2014, the conversion factor for dressed (DRE) Dark Ghost Shark (GSH) has been changed from 3.4 to 3.2.

The following new conversion factors have been added for the Shark Fins Attached (SFA) landed state:

• Blue Shark (BWS) 1.85
• Spiny Dogfish (SPD) 2.6
• All other sharks 1.95

A definition of Shark Fins Attached has also been added:

Shark Fins Attached - “shark fins attached” means
(a) in relation to blue shark, the state in which the trunk is processed to the dressed
state and at least the pectoral fins, first dorsal fin, and caudal (tail) fin are
artificially attached; and
(b) in relation to any other species of shark, the state in which the trunk is processed to
the headed and gutted state and at least the pectoral fins, dorsal fins, and caudal
(tail) fin are naturally attached.
