Sea lion interactions with the SQU6T fishery are currently managed through the 'Operational Plan to Manage the Incidental Capture of New Zealand Sea lions in the Southern Squid Trawl Fishery (SQU6T) 2016/17' which expires on 30 September 2017.

MPI is seeking feedback on the management settings for the next Operational Plan.
