The Ministry for Primary Industries (MPI) is reviewing minimum Annual Catch Entitlement (ACE) holding requirements for South Island eel stocks.

MPI wants your feedback on these 2 options:

• Option 1 (preferred): removing the minimum ACE holding requirements for South Island eels, or
• Option 2 (status quo): keeping the 2 tonne minimum ACE holding requirements for South Island eels.
