MPI is seeking feedback on the proposed national fisheries plans for highly migratory species and deepwater fisheries. 

National fisheries plans for highly migratory species and deepwater fisheries were first published in 2010. MPI is now seeking feedback on the revised plans.

In the proposed national fisheries plans for highly migratory species and deepwater fisheries, the high level management objectives remain broadly the same as those in the 2010 plans. However, the plans have been updated to incorporate policies approved since 2010 (such as the national plans of action for seabirds and sharks).
