MPI is seeking feedback on draft circulars for the digital monitoring of commercial fishing. Circulars are the legal documents that set the standards and specifications for the systems and processes used in digital monitoring.

The draft circulars for consultation are on:

• Geospatial Position Reporting Devices
• Codes and Information
• Event Reporting, and
• Monthly Harvest Returns.

Consultation on cameras will take place at a later date.
