Weekly Lockdown Update

While FishServe continues to operate as normal under the nationwide lockdown, our mail-handling procedures have been affected.

Therefore, all mail received by FishServe on or after Thursday the 26th of March will not be processed until lockdown restrictions have been lifted and the Government has deemed it safe to return to work.

If you wish to return completed forms to FishServe, we suggest scanning these forms and emailing them to registry@fishserve.co.nz. Scanned documents must be clear, legible and signed by the appropriate person/s.

Original copies of certain documents will not be sent by FishServe until lockdown restrictions have been lifted. Instead, we can arrange to send you, or a nominated person, a PDF copy of those documents. When lockdown restrictions have been lifted and the Government has deemed it safe to return to work, we will mail the original/s as normal.

If you receive notifications and/or statements from FishServe through the mail, we will be unable to mail these to you until lockdown restrictions have lifted. Digital copies of notifications and/or statements normally sent by mail are available on our website.

Our helpline is available on 04 460 9555 to assist with any queries. Alternatively, you can use our online contact form for assistance.

Below, we’ve outlined affected services and how we will deal with them in the meantime.

If you receive FishServe notifications via email, these will be sent as normal.

Monthly Harvest Returns

Monthly Harvest Returns must be submitted online. Quick Guides on submitting an MHR online and generating MHR details from your electronic reports are available here. You must be authorised as a Returns manager to submit MHRs.

Catch Effort & Sendbacks

Outstanding Catch Effort forms will not be processed until we have returned to the office.

The ACV helpline continues to operate as normal and can be reached on 0800 422 843 or by email at Charter.Operator@FINNZ.com.

As mail-handling procedures have been affected, some ACV services may also be affected. Please keep an eye on your e-mails for an update from us regarding any affected services.
