The Minister for Primary Industries has approved two in-season total allowable catch (TAC) increases, one for Flatfish in combined Quota Management Areas 3, 4, 5 and 6 (FLA3) and one for Red cod in combined Quota Management Areas 2 and 8 (RCO2).

An additional 233 tonnes of TAC ACE will be created for RCO2 and 635 tonnes for FLA3. The additional ACE will be allocated on 23rd of August 2017.

Please note that TAC ACE is not included when calculating underfishing at the end of the fishing year.
