FishServe Website Updates

At FishServe, we're always looking for ways in which we can improve our website. Based on some of your feedback, we've made the following updates and improvements.

Password Changes

We’ve added a new Change Password feature to our website. With this feature, you can change your existing password through the website - without having to reset your security questions.

To do this, login to FishServe using your existing details. Click on your name in the top-right corner of the screen and select Change Password from the drop-down menu.

The Change Password window will display. You will need to enter your current password before making any changes. Please see here for further information on setting passwords.

“To Do List” Changes

We’ve made some improvements to streamline the To Do List that features on each client page. Now, only the most recent Monthly Harvest Returns (MHRs) with discrepancies will display. Any MHRs with discrepancies that are over 3 months old will not display. Provided you have Returns access, you can view MHRs with discrepancies in the Returns tab.

ER Improvements

We’ve updated the Trip Export function in ER tab to include the following methods: Diving, Jigging, Hand Gathering and Other Lining. Before this update, fishing trips that included these methods could not be exported to a spreadsheet. We’ve also made changes to prevent errors/discrepancies in reports that included either SQU1J and/or SQU1T.

In last month’s update, we added a new tab to the trip report spreadsheets called Discrepancies.

With this latest update to our website, the Discrepancies tab will now be included in each type of report (e.g. Aggregated OR Aggregated and Detail OR Detail). We’ve also fixed a bug that caused some disposals not to display in the Discrepancies tab.

You can access the Trip Export feature under the ER tab. You must have Electronic Reporting authorisation to do this.

  • Start by going to the ER tab.
  • On the Trip Summary screen, find a trip you want to view in detail and click Export.
  • From the drop-down menu, select either Aggregated OR Aggregated and Detail OR Detail.
  • Once you've made your selection, the trip report will download as a spreadsheet.

We are always interested in your feedback on more ways we can improve our website. If you have any comments or suggestions, please contact the FishServe helpline on 04 460 9555 or use our online contact form.
