FirstMate is an initiative set up to provide one-on-one support to the commercial seafood industry. It has been established with assistance from MPI.  

It is run independently by a team of people with deep knowledge of the seafood sector, and an understanding of what it means to be part of New Zealand’s seafood industry.

The team can be reached for free on 0800 237 438, and they are available between 7:00 AM and 10:00 PM any day.
