Fisheries New Zealand is seeking feedback on a Draft National Inshore Finfish Fisheries Plan (the Draft Plan). Submissions are open until 12 February 2020.

Fisheries plans set the high-level direction and overarching framework for managing fisheries. Plans provide for greater participation, certainty, transparency, and accountability to New Zealanders for how fisheries are managed.

This Draft Plan sets out how Fisheries New Zealand intends to transform and improve the management of New Zealand’s inshore finfish fisheries.
