The Acting Minister of Conservation is proposing to declare a marine mammal sanctuary (MMS) in Te Pēwhairangi (Bay of Islands). 

The Department of Conservation (DOC) is seeking feedback on the proposal.

The closing date for submissions is 5 PM on 18^th May 2021.
