Conversion Factor Regulation Changes from 15 October 2011
The Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry has issued an updated conversion factor notice - Fisheries (Conversion Factors) Notice 2011. This replaces the Fisheries (Conversion Factors) Notice 2005. The new notice makes 5 changes to existing conversion factors (see below) and amends some of the definitions to ensure consistency and to correct some minor errors. These changes take effect from 15 October 2011.
Conversion factor changes:
- LIN UTF (ling skin-on untrimmed fillets) has increased from 2.25 to 2.40
- HOK UTF (hoki skin-on untrimmed fillets) has increased from 2.15 to 2.25
- LIN MKF (ling minced, skin-off fillets) has decreased from 3.10 to 3.05
- HOK MKF (hoki minced, skin-off fillets) has increased from 3.10 to 3.20
- SBW MKF (southern blue whiting minced, skin-off fillets) has increased from 3.10 to 3.25
