You can now manage your marine farm registration/s online, under the Licences tab.

In order to access this data, you will need to be registered as an authorised user on our website. With the appropriate authorisation in place, you will be able to add to, amend, view or cancel your marine farm registration/s online.

If you have not registered as an authorised user, you can download and complete a Details of Authorised Personnel form. Please ensure when completing the form that you select the authorisation for the Aquaculture area. You can appoint yourself as a manager and/or contact person for your organisation. Alternatively, you can appoint someone else to act as a manager and/or contact person on behalf of your organisation/s. Completed forms can be returned to registry@fishserve.co.nz.

If you are already registered as an authorised user, the authorisation for the Aquaculture area may not be in place: 

• If you operate as an individual or sole trader, you will be automatically authorised to manage your marine farm registration. However, if you wish to authorise additional personnel to act on your behalf, you will need to complete a Details of Authorised Personnel form. 
• If you operate as a company or trust, a manager will not be automatically authorised to manage your marine farm registration/s. You will therefore need to appoint a manager and/or contact person to manage your marine farm registration/s. You can do so by completing a Details of Authorised Personnel form. 

Without the appropriate authorisation in place, you will not be able to add to, amend, view or cancel your marine farm registration/s online.

FishServe provides access to the Fish Farmer and Aquaculture registers on request. 

In addition, we receive the following types of aquaculture applications:

• Applications for a registration or variation of a fish farm
• Applications to register an aquaculture agreement
• Applications to register a pre-request aquaculture agreement
• Applications to register an aquaculture compensation declaration
