Important Update: Working Off-Site & Office Closure
As a precautionary measure against the risk of COVID-19, FishServe has decided that all staff will work from home, beginning:
Monday the 23rd of March.
Therefore, all FishServe staff will be working off-site and our office will be closed until further notice.
This closure will not impact our services, and it will be business as usual for FishServe. You will be able to reach our helpline on 04 460 9555 as we continue to work through this situation.
This decision has been made in line with the Government’s advice and with the health and wellbeing of our staff and clients at the forefront.
With the Government's announcement that New Zealand is to move to National Alert Level 4, the primary industries have been included on the list of essential services. The Ministry for Primary Industries now needs assurance that industries and businesses have processes in place to protect their workers and the public by limiting interactions and preventing the spread of COVID-19. To find out more or register as an essential service, visit MPI's essential services webpage here.
Seafood New Zealand have posted a COVID-19 Information page on their website which will be regularly updated with any material developments. To view this page, please click here.
These are extraordinary circumstances and we urge everyone to listen to all Government advice regarding COVID-19. Further information regarding COVID-19 can be found here.
We thank you for your patience.
