A number of stocks will have their TAC/TACCs changed with effect from 1 October 2010. Please note that Underfishing ACE is
not allocated for stocks that have their TACC reduced.

Farewell to Justine Hastings • 24 September 2010
It is with a great deal of sadness we bid farewell to Justine Hastings, after 15 years loyal service. Justine's last day with FishServe will be 28 September, and she will be leaving us to take a senior management role with Student Job Search.
Justine joined us while we were still part of MFish, in the role of registry officer, and over 15 years has developed into a critical member of FishServe's senior management team. During her time with us she has worked in several different positions, but what has been common to them all is her contact and involvement with our clients. When we first separated from MFish, Justine played a hugely significant role as our Customer Services Manager, in working alongside the industry so that FishServe could ensure we were meeting the expectations of the industry. It is the work she did in this role which has set the standard for our customer service.
We wish Justine all the very best in her new role, and for her future.

GST Rate Increase and New Fees • 20 September 2010
From 1 October 2010 GST will increase from 12.5% to 15%. As a result, the fees and levies charged by FishServe and the Ministry of Fisheries may change from that date. Some fees will not be going up, but others will increase to reflect the increase in GST.
At the same time, the annual adjustment of fees will result in some changes in fees charged.
The new fees and GST rates will apply to all transactions processed from 1 October 2010.
