ORH1 TACC changes • 26 October 2006
As a result of a court action seeking relief from the decrease to the ORH1 TACC on 1 October, the High Court has issued interim orders directing FishServe to re-instate the TACC for ORH1 for the 2006/2007 fishing year from 800,000 to 1,400,000 kilograms.
Please note that the substantive court hearing on this matter has been set down for the week beginning 23 January 2007. As a result of this hearing the court may make further orders in relation to the ORH1 TACC including upholding the Crowns original decision to set the TACC at 800,000 kilograms for the 2006/2007 fishing year. Such a decision may have consequential impacts.
