In Season TAC increase for SQU1T • 21 April 2006
The Minister of Fisheries has increased the Total Allowable Catch (TAC) for SQU1T for the 2005/2006 fishing year from 44,740,881 kg to 53,689,060 (an increase of 8,948,179 kg), effective from 21 April 2006.
From 1 October 2006, the TAC for SQU1T reverts back to 44,740,881 kg.
End of April Fishing Year ACE Transfers • 4 April 2006
Please remember that all ACE transfers for stocks belonging to the April 2005/2006 fishing year must be processed by FishServe on or before 15 April 2006. Any transfer applications received after this date cannot be processed.
This year, the 15th of April is in the middle of the Easter Weekend, so please ensure that any paper application forms are sent in well in advance of the last day for receiving them, which is Thursday the 13th April 2006.
ACE transfers applications can be submitted using the FishServe website and file uploads up to and including the 15th April 2006.
